Christmas Pudding!

I couldn’t be happier!

This is just perfect. Lovely dark colour, beautiful rich, fruity, spicy smell.

The last little pudding has just come out of the pan.

It might be one big pudding for Christmas day, 1 medium pudding as a gift for someone special, and one small pudding for a little taste tester before Christmas…

If I relent, and we reheat and eat one before Christmas – I’ll be sure to post a photo!

  1. Sweetrosie, that Christmas pudding looks so good and makes me homesick for my grandma. She made lots of pudding every year and at least 2 Christmas cakes. No one makes Christmas puddings over here in the US. Enjoy!!!

  2. Thanks Cathie. They are lovely words.

You could start your own trend in the US! Do a Christmas pudding class at home and you might become a millionaire 😉

Now I only have the cake to do… I might end up making the pineapple boiled fruit cake. Time is kind of getting away from me.

    Have a lovely, peaceful day.

  3. Dear sweetrosie 😀

Finally, after a few weeks of suspense, I get to taste my Christmas Puddings just now ….wow, they were so moist, so yummy, not so sweet and simply decadent. My children had suggested that we eat have the pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, which is drizzled with Hershey’s Chocolate Fudge and some marshmallows. 🙄

I even had a second helping of the pudding but just on its own without any “toppings or sides”, and my husband and I agreed that it tasted even better this way.

Thank you for teaching me how to make this, at least this year, our Christmas Eve Dinner was complete with a traditional Christmas dessert! 😀

    Merry Christmas!

Have a wonderful, fun Christmas –

    choesf 😀
